Hail to Prince!  and his music! 

As it happened I had started this purple quilt several weeks ago for a friend who likes purple. I am making it in 16 inch blocks; there will be dark purple sashing between the blocks.  I went shopping, in the rain, yesterday for more fabric. I washed it and hung it on the line to dry today.

It is breezy and now it is raining down helicopters. Seeds from the maple trees are blowing everywhere. This is the 3rd project that I have in the works. This one is portable when I need to travel, I can take it with me to build my blocks, no sewing machine required!
