Here it is Labor Day and I am working - a labor of love.
The Asheville Quilt Show is September 29, - October 1st, so my deadline for finishing this quilt (Sept 25th) is fast approaching! “Happy in the Mountains” was made in 5 Units,
a center square, 2 short sides and 2 long sides. It is easier to quilt a big quilt in units on a home sewing machine. Stay tuned for info on stitching and quilting at the same time and then joining the units. Steps 12.1 and 12.2 are for building the units with No Sewing.
